All proceeds of Dance 4 Life go to the initiatives of Lifeline Foundation Support Team, Inc.
Lifeline Community is our initiative to touch people's lives at the most foundational level. It is a grassroots efforts to uplift and empower the lives of others in the area of reproductive health, wellness, livelihood, education, and indeed, all aspects of life. Beginning in TS Cruz, Las Pinas, in 2012, we are endeavoring to make a difference first of all in peoples' mindsets, helping them out of lives of poverty and into productivity and wholeness.
Lifeline Foundation Support Team Inc. regularly conducts medical missions among the different needy communities such as the Mangyans in Mindoro and the Aetas in Pampanga. We conduct Barangay Medical Outreaches as well, giving back to public servants (policemen, firefighters, tanods, barangay workers, traffic aides, teachers, health workers, etc.) We gladly bring medical and dental interventions to whole families, who otherwise have little access to them.
Empowering lives. Each month Lifeline sponsors a person who cannot be productive by reason of a medical liability. We team with doctors who sponsor their services and we provide the operating expenses of any surgery needed and the medicines required. If a man wants to work and provide for his family but cannot because he cannot see any longer, this is where we step in. Children who have had their future endangered by blindness have had laser surgery with Lifeline. The truth is, medical resources are plentiful and there are many skilled doctors willing to donate their time and energy. Our job is to connect patients with our volunteer doctors and in doing so, we help others help themselves.
Rebuilding homes and lives. Bringing much-needed aid to calamity-stricken areas with a focus on medical needs and promoting sustainable living. Year after year, portions of our beautiful country are hard-hit by different storms and typhoons. Many receive the aid they deserve, but invariably there are remote areas that are often forgotten or neglected. Their cries reach Lifeline’s ears. We run drives to collect clothes, canned goods, blankets, toys and groceries, and personally deliver these items to these hard-hit areas. And, after the destruction, we assist with rebuilding, emphasizing new and sustainable ways.
Since 2007, Lifeline Foundation has been operating a Satellite School among the urban poor students in BF Paranaque. We target children from ages 5-10 and strengthen English and Math skills, helping fill the gaps in their public school education. This year, Lifeline's first scholar, Gerald Campanero is entering 4th year high school and will graduate in 2013, from Lifeline Foundation South City Central School. This year also, we are starting the second Lifeline Sattellite school in TS Cruz, Las Pinas, where Lifeline is holding Community Empowerment.
